Where is Blacktail Mountain?
Blacktail Mountain is located in Lakeside, Montana, along the northwest corner of Flathead Lake. From Highway 93 in Lakeside, simply follow the Blacktail Road 14 miles to the top of the resort.
When is Blacktail Mountain open?
Blacktail is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from late November to early April, weather dependent. The resort is also open for President’s Day and for a two week period over Christmas.

What other activities does Blacktail Mountain Resort offer?
There isn’t much to do at Blacktail other than ski and snowboard. However, if you want to cross country ski, there are a handful of groomed trails located half way between Lakeside and Blacktail Mountain. As for food, there is a pub and a cafeteria at the resort.
